Who is BrushWorks Studio?

Hello,
My name is Chuck Gaudette. I've been a professional artist for over 30 years. I attended Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and have earned my living in the art business ever since. I've created graphic designs and illustrations for many companies both large and small.

During the last 10 years I noticed that the one thing I enjoyed doing most was creating paintings from photos ...especially combining more than one photo to create an entirely new painting. While working in advertising I was often asked to add a new background to a photo, or to replace one product with another. It was both enjoyable and challenging work.

Beginning with photos of my family, I developed techniques and tested materials. I learned the framing business and found ways to make these paintings affordable and true works of art. Each painting is a custom product created by hand. Nothing is ever just a photo printed on canvas or a computer generated picture. I work with customers every step of the way to help them create something truly special and one-of-a-kind. It takes time to paint each picture this way, but it's something I love to do. And from the comments received from my customers, it's something people really appreciate. Because in the end, it's artwork that you helped create and something that will last for generations.
